You work as a communication specialist at Estee Lauder Companies. Think about the economic and social challenges we have experienced in the last few months. Issue: expanding social media outreach. Losing engagement with clients: Because of the lockdowns during the Covid-19 emergency, and the recommendations of staying at home, people were going out only to get the essential needs for their homes and/or their job. This made it impossible to engage with clients since no clients were at malls, stores, etc. This does not only lead to a decrease in sales but also could cause permanent damage if the company does not adapt to this new reality. Solution: Customers were in their homes during the pandemic, and one of the activities they spent most of their time on was social media. Like many other companies, Estee Lauder had to adapt to this new reality. We needed to increase our social media activities in order to entertain our customers by creating helpful and entertaining content that will create engagement between them and the company.
