3. Screening methods/diagnosis – how do doctors determine if someone has the disease?
4. Transmission/risk factors: genetic, communicable, acquired, etc. -how does someone get the disease?
5. Treatments available – medications, surgery, therapy, etc.
6. Prognosis – fatal, relapse rates, long-term issues, etc
7. Statistics – numbers/types of people with the disease, mortality rates
8. How does this impact a person’s life/ways to cope? (physical limits, emotional problems, etc.)
