Dear class,
Just a reminder that instead of a quiz, you have a short paper due this coming Sunday at 3:30. As noted in the syllabus, you need to write a short paper (2 pages) on the Matland and Paxton-Hughes readings, focusing on electoral rules and their effect on women’s representation.
In the guidelines section of content you will find the following to help you with your paper: 1) guidelines for short papers, 2) a short video on writing clearly and 3) a very short article on writing clearly titled “simplicity.” You can also e-mail me or ask to see me if you have any questions after reviewing the guidelines.
