What assessment tool would you utilize to address their needs?

Throughout the semester, you should have been reading the book, The Working Poor. The book describes the challenges of the working poor in America. It highlights issues around societal failures that create continued disadvantaged opportunities for low-income individuals. I’d like for you to reflect upon this book and the clients you may interact with. Think about how you may interact with individuals from disadvantaged financial backgrounds and how your use of assessments can uncover opportunities to move these individuals into a better financial situation. Please use the guidelines below to write your reflection paper.
Think about communities and support systems discussed throughout the course. Identify strengths, hazards, and risks for individuals considered ‘working poor.’
If you are a social worker working without someone facing continuous homelessness, food insecurity, lack of childcare, etc., how would you assist this individual? What assessment tool would you utilize to address their needs?
Please be sure to highlight how you would assist the working poor. Reflect upon the micro (individual) responses to helping the working poor and macro (group/community) responses to helping the working poor.
The purpose of the paper is to apply theories into practice.
