Choose a current event that you find via any reputable news source or a topic from the required course textbook
that involves a legal and/or ethic issue as related to healthcare.
The current event/topic you choose must be healthcare related (humans, not animals).
Find 5 “peer-reviewed” articles about the current event/topic.
The 5 articles you find must all be “peer-reviewed”
If you can’t find 5 peer – reviewed sources, pick another current event.
Instructions:
1. Submit a document briefly discussing the current event/topic you selected as an introduction (a small paragraph is
fine).
2. Then provide a listing (separate from the introduction) of direct links to EACH of the peer reviewed sources
you found.
3. On a separate page of paper, prepare a 2-page discussion on what you learned from reading about that
current event/topic assuring that you are not biased (covering all sides of the issue).
Note: A discussion is NOT a
vomiting back what the articles stated! A “discussion” is you discussing your thoughts about the articles as they
represent the topic.
