This is a broad / general assignment in order to give you the freedom to reflect on, and explore, your own truths and opinions — they will be argued as facts in the final submission — and to reflect the study of literature. The prompts are always broad, to give you room o analyze both the work and the question. If you’d like to go over this together, feel free to email, anytime.
ASSIGNMENT:
Compare (note: explain similarities, not differences) two works from our course studies. Consider a specific element or theme, message or character, that you feel these works touched on, and explain specifically in your thesis statement. (This thesis should have been emailed to me, so feedback has already been provided.) These analyses should be your own, and not found in outside sources.
This final submission should reflect and support that clear thesis statement, and include at least three citations from each work mentioned (6 in total). This submission should be 800 words, excluding the citations.
