The goal for the Reform Essays is to describe (1) a reform that you would make to the current legal system relevant to children and the law (2) research that supports your proposed reform.
Any reform will have pros and cons. We are not seeking to eradicate all of the problems with a singular reform. We function under the adage of “Better is Good.” But please do acknowledge any potential problems that may arise with implementing the suggested reform (e.g., Will law enforcement like the idea? Is it expensive?).
Essays should be approximately 400 to 500 words in length. Please cite your sources in APA style both in text and in a references section. Your references section does not count towards the 400 to 500 words.
For this Essay, the topic should be related to something that you learned about in Module 4.
