Students will choose a book regarding Appalachia and will connect course material to its content. Successful completion of the assignment requires students to read the selected book and then write an analysis that relies upon the content that has been addressed in the course up to this point. In writing the book analysis, the student should consider concepts from the course reading, as well as other modules activities as related to Appalachian culture and social work practice. The finished product should be 4-5 pages in length.
