Job search
My primary concern when searching
for a job is whether I am presenting myself in the manner in which I would like
to be perceived. I know that they will only spend a few minutes reviewing my
resume, so what can I do to make myself stand out? Additionally, I ask myself
what type of job I would like to pursue? Do I intend to work as a full-scope
midwife, in a birthing center, as a hospitalist, or just as an on-call midwife?
It is possible to choose from a wide variety of options.

Interviewing.
When interviewing, my primary concern is always
“will they like me?/ what is if they’re looking for?”. What’s the
time? I have general stress over the interviewing process, not
necessarily about the context of what’s being said. I’ve learned over the years
that presenting positivity and being true to who you are during an
interview process is better than trying to manipulate or hide flaws you may
have. However, while researching how to complete this post, I learned that it is
best to explore the side you would be interviewing after securing an
interview(Whelchel, 2020). Before
interviewing, it is always good to review your resume and update it accordingly(Whelchel,
2020).
