Explain the fundamental dimensions of change.
Course outcome #3: Apply effective change management skills to integrate procedural and technological changes within the workforce, while minimizing the negative impact on productivity.
How ready for change is your organization? This is a great opportunity to take a close look at how your organization ( PCC or
another one you are very familiar with) has handled the changes brought on by the Coronavirus Pandemic.
For our discussion this week, you will be applying aspects of Lewin’s Force Field Analysis Model. Get familiar with the thinking of “organizational change” in terms of what is holding it back (restraining forces), what is pushing it forward (driving forces), and how to
strengthen and diminish those forces in order to attain the desired change.
Respond to the following ( 6 points):
Discuss an organizational change process you are familiar with. This could be your employer, your church, your school, your family, or an organization you are familiar with due to friends or the news.
List several driving forces as well as several restraining forces in this case.
To increase the chances for successful change, recommend how you would increase these driving forces and how you would diminish these restraining forces.
