Final Paper: The deepest learning occurs when we apply new information and insight to our our own lives. Reflecting on what we have learned and applying what we have learned are powerful tools that can bring about growth and transformation. Write three full pages in APA format (double spaced, 12 arial font, APA formatting in margins, etc). Include a cover page (include a photo or drawing that depicts you or an aspect of your life that you want to convey on the cover page. I will be looking for how you incorporate visual communication skills to help tell your story in a picture on the cover page.) and a references page for a total of five pages.
This paper is an autobiography. Write about your own development up to this point in your life. Tell the story of how you came to be who you are, physically, cognitively, socially, morally, and personality. Reference the topics, concepts, developmental stages, and theories covered in the course content. Identify the stages of development as you tell your specific story. Include social, biological, cultural, and other significant influences in your development. Apply specific developmental concepts such as Ainsworth’s attachment theory, Kohlberg’s moral development theory, Erikson’s psychosocial development theory, or others you found most applicable to your development. Demonstrate critical thinking as you apply the theories to your story. Is the theory applicable? Do you agree/disagree? How might you add to or modify the theory(theories) to improve the clarity and relevance?
