Students will prepare an individual or a group PowerPoint presentation on an
oppressed/at-risk population or ethnic group. The presentation should consider what information is most useful for social workers engaged with this population. Each individual/group will do a self-evaluation and peer evaluation of the presentation.
Content: Remember this is to be information that would be important for social workers working with this population. The large majority of the content should not be practice content – it should be knowledge content (35 points).
Integration of References: Students will provide at least five scientific, evidence-based articles that direct practice from the beginning, middle, and end. References should be integrated into the presentation, and the reference list should be provided as a handout (30 points).
