Do not summarize the articles in your presentation. Presentations that merely summarize
articles will
receive low grades. Instead, your presentation should:
a) Identify what you consider the key issues/themes/concepts raised by the reading(s).
b) Take a firm stand on the issues/themes/concepts and articulate a clear argument (i.e.,
you
agree, disagree, or you have a more nuanced position).
c) Explain why you make this argument, and defend your argument by showing why it is
stronger than alternate arguments using relevant examples.
d) Generate questions for class discussion.
