Design a chemotaxis experiment to examine the worms’ behavior in response to the chemical. It’s easiest to study C. elegans on Petri dishes that contain agar (a gel-like solid material on which the worms can readily move). Assume you have as many dishes as you need for your experiments, and access to the necessary chemicals and worm populations. Make sure you indicate the specific hypotheses you are testing, the control and test groups in your design, what you are measuring in the assay, how you will make those measurements, and how you will analyze the data you collect.
