Describe the biological bases of self-injurious behavior (cutting), and possible treatments for it, and discuss (in detail) the biological underpinnings of the treatment approach. I want to know how the biological underpinnings of pain and pleasure relate to self-harm among adolescents. In this paper please talk about the amygdala, the reward system, and pain regulation.
