Closely read the attached excerpt from Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. Write a well-developed, text-based response of five paragraphs. In your response, identify how Austen uses dialogue to develop characterization of ONE CHARACTER. You may choose from Jane, Lydia, Elizabeth, or Mr. Bennet. Remember, characterization is the personality of the character and how the author reveals it in the text. Do not simply summarize the text. Use strong and thoughtful textual evidence to support your analysis.
