Compose an analysis answering the following prompt:
Based on what you know about Alice Munro and your reading of “Boys and Girls,” use at least two characteristics of the bildungsroman to list at least one similarity and at least one difference between the cultural context of the story with EITHER A) a culture you are familiar with OR B) to a contemporary text–novel, short story, film, television show, or video game– you have previously read, watched, or played. Select specific examples from the text to support your analysis.

Rating Criteria:
Answers each prompt:
1. use at least two characteristics of the bildungsroman
2. choose EITHER A) a culture you are familiar with OR B) to a contemporary text–novel, short story, film, television show, or video game– you have previously read, watched, or played.
3. list at least one similarity between the cultural context from “Boys and Girls” and your choice from #2 above
4. list at least one difference between the cultural context from “Boys and Girls” and your choice from #2 above
