Gamers are a passionate bunch; they know what they love, and they know what they hate. Incorporate this devotion with a healthy dose of social media, and you have a recipe for a gaming community. These communities are so crucial to the success of each game, you’ll often see companies create teams of people whose sole job is to help manage and regulate these environments. This isn’t as easy as it seems, however, as gamers aren’t afraid to voice their opinions both helpful and toxic. For this assignment, you’ll choose a game to focus on and analyze the community behind it.

Note: Even though you are posting your work in a discussion forum, the content you are submitting must still meet the requirements of a college-level paper in regards to respectfulness, organization, wording, spelling, and grammar.
Please research and talk about the following topic(s). In 250+ words,your response must answer all of the following questions:
For this assignment, choose one (1) game which has had an active gaming community within the last 10 years and research it. Using this research, answer the following questions:
What gaming community did you choose to focus on? Why?
What is the general perception surrounding the community (negative, positive, both)? Why?
How large is said community and around how many people are needed to manage it?
How do the developers interact with their community (events, streams, social media, etc.)?
Have there been any stories involving this community that stand out to you? (They can be positive and/or negative)
Do you participate in any gaming communities? If so, which and why? If not, why not?
You must provide citations for all of your sources as evidence of your research.
A minimum of two (2) citations are required.
For this particular discussion, instead of worrying about format, simply paste a list of website links.
Finally, find and read the replies of those who worked on the other discussion and respond to at least two (2) of them with your views on their conclusions.
