DP#1: Good afternoon class,
I have worked as a Medical Assistant for over 12 years in different settings. I recently worked in the Clinical Research Field and I loved it as a Research Assistant and working on becoming a Clinical Research Coordinator. One thing that prevented me from moving forward was to have a degree. As I work on finishing my Bachelor’s I will be enrolling in my Master and now I feel like I can try to look for an even higher position than a CRC. Now looking into the requirements’ this is what I found that I would need to become a Clinical Research Associate. According to (How to Become a Clinical Research Associate, 2022) “A career as a CRA can be fulfilling because you are essentially a part-translator, part-project manager, and part administrator for trials that have the potential to save lives.” With the degree and path that I am taking, I have a strong sense of confidence I can be able to excel at this position. The requirements to become a CRA is; Having a high school diploma, 3,500 hours of qualifying work experience, and earning an associate’s degree in health science. Me having over 5 years of experience in a related field, 12 years of experience in the healthcare field, and 3 years as a Medical Instructor, as well as working on my master’s I believe I can get started on an entry-level position and work my way up to a project manager. According to (Clinical Research Associate Jobs, Employment in San Jose, ca | Indeed.com, 2022) “Qualification for a position at Parexel is for an APEX Clinical Research Associate (CRA) (Remote) is; They are required to complete the ACRP Entry Level Knowledge Assessment and are enrolled in a 1-year membership to the ACRP, Minimum Bachelor’s degree in life sciences/data sciences/pharmacy/nursing or other health-related disciplines, and less than 6 months experience in clinical research.” I think to make myself even more marketable is to join the ACRP and try to get as many certifications as possible for the position like GCP and IATA certifications renewed to show that I am already ready to work. Is there anyone else that is looking to work in Medical Research? I have found it to be a rewarding career with plenty of advancements and opportunities.

DP#2:Hello Prof & Classmates,
As we all know that healthcare system is a very wild field with diverse arms of healthcare specialty with diverse of professionals. Though there are many job-specific skills involved in becoming a healthcare administrator, chances for getting employed immediately after the program is very slim. The requirement varies depending on the location and the type of organization you applied to, the video presentation and the research into today’s job opportunity market, they all make us to realized some career field opportunity we can look into when applying for job which are hospitals, dental office, insurance companies, billing agencies and may more like that. Career opportunities are different to each other due to geographical location, salary, past experience and majorly level of degree.
The marketable skills for healthcare administration in today’s market are
Good communication
Planning ability
Problem solving
Exploring the technical skills healthcare administrators need
Business administration and operations skills
Patient care
Budgeting
Quality assurance and control
Getting experience as a fresh graduate may not be easy at some points, but with the knowledge i have gathered so far in healthcare field, i wouldn’t mind to volunteer or go for internship for few weeks at one of the facilities i have worked for so far. Secondly, i would not allow the pay rate to dictate my offer as a fresh graduate, who needs experience in that particular career compare to my previous career and certification.
Other strategies i would use in other to stand out in todays job market is by:
I need to be a good fit
To be honest in my service
I need to set patient goals and safety as my priority
Be efficient
To be equitable
To always communicate my goals and progress with my teams
Patient care prioritization

DP#3:Over the years technology has grown so much, and social media platforms have also grown tremendously. Social media has become a great way for businesses to promote their products and since it is such a broad platform that it is a great way for businesses to reach people all over the world. Many companies will also take on what they consider to be brand ambassadors that they will send products to for them to help the company promote.
Professionally, social media can be used in many ways such as expanding their network, building and expanding a business, job hunting, building a brand, and discovering new trends and ideas. In a professional context, social media is a good way to show and sell products to those who favor the companies products and reach those who may not have had experience with the company yet. It is also a great means of communication for those customers who are trying to reach out to the company or those that the company is trying to reach out to.
Social media has been a great way for companies to grow their business and promote to new clientele. When utilized properly, social media can be a sufficient benefit to businesses trying to promote their products. As social media platforms are growing, so are the opportunities for small and large businesses.
DP#4:If I were to start my company before using social media, I believe that would be one of my primary marketing strategies. I would do this so that other people would be aware of what is going to happen next. When that opening date has been determined, I intend to begin publicizing the discounts and deals that my company is going to be making available to customers. I would try to avoid repeating or replicating the content of other businesses and instead post my own original work instead. I would also make an effort to communicate with the people in the crowd and respond as promptly as I could to their queries. My time spent on social media would be built into my daily schedule so that I could regularly respond to comments and repost interesting new stuff to maintain the attention of my audience. I would also make sure to let my employer or workers know that whenever they post anything related to the company, they are acting in the capacity of representatives for the firm. Also, remember to keep your comments upbeat and clean, and above all, watch out for your reputation (Rock, n.d).
