• Compare Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) and the mainstream orthodox view on monetary theory (Milton Friedman).
The paper must follow these guidelines:
• Length must be at least 5 pages and no more than 15, not including references, exhibits and footnotes
• References need to be footnoted and placed at the end of the paper
• 12-point font
• Double spaced
• 1-inch margins all around
• At least 8 original sources need to be provided as references
• Wikipedia (and similar sites) may be accessed for general information, but MAY NOT be used as a reference
• Paper to be submitted via email in word format to asalik@albany.edu with “Final Paper” in the subject line
• Plagiarism will not be tolerated. All direct quotes (including minor word changes) from references must be placed in quotes and footnoted.
Grading will be based on your paper’s providing alternative points of view based on your research and then followed up by your own point of view on contentious or controversial issues with justification.
