Requirements:
Part A
Students are required to research the ethics code or an ethics policy of their current worksite at OR wishes to be employed.
Provide a summary of the worksite’s ethical code/policy. Students should compare the information found regarding their current worksite to their specific profession’s code of ethics (ie Professional Physical Therapy’s Code of Ethics compared to the code of ethics for physical therapists). Students are required to demonstrate thorough research of profession’s code of ethics and organization’s ethics materials and fully and succinctly summarize the research
Identify and discuss similarities and differences. Students will also discuss the implications of the similarities and differences on their work at the organization. with APA format.
Part B
Informal section of the paper:
Focus your thoughts and reactions on what you found. Address whether this will change your leadership, ethical code, or work as a result.
Identify aspects of the job you would want to do differently to incorporate moral considerations and ethical analysis (what actions will you take to achieve that).
Be sure to discuss:
a possible ethical situation that may arise while working at this organization. What would guide you through this ethical situation- your professional code of ethics or the organizational code of ethics? Are they same or do they differ? Explain which one you would use to guide your decision and why.
Describe how their learnings may impact their ethical and leadership at their workplace.

The information on current statistics/prevalence/incidence are accessible on the Internet. Information must be from well accepted and respected online sources. Look for the tag “.org”, “.edu” or “.gov” at the end of the web address.
Other sources that are allowed to be used for this paper. They include: Quick Facts from the US Census , USDA – State Fact Sheets , Kaiser Family Foundation – State Data , County Health Rankings
References can’t be older than 10 years.
Must have at least 1 peer reviewed article.
Citations:
Within the paper: The information must be properly cited within the body of the paper using the APA format.
At the end of the paper: All references used to write the paper must be presented on a separate reference page at the end of the paper using the APA format.

The Paper:
Paper must be written in paragraph form
The paper must be typed: 12 font, Times New Roman, double-spaced, 1” margins, and presented neatly.
Be mindful of grammar, spelling and organization as they count toward your final paper grade.
The total length of the paper should be approximately 4 pages in length. There should be a cover page, 2 pages of content, and a reference page.
