Prompt 1:Evaluating: You are going to buy a new car, and you can’t decide between a black or a white Honda. Using albedo as part of your decision, how can the color of a car really influence the decision.
Prompt 2:Critical Thinking: While learning about the aphelion and perihelion, you learn that during North America’s winter, the Earth is closer to the Sun. Explain what the perihelion and aphelion are, and how the distance from the Sun plays an effect on Earths weather.
Prompt 3:Understanding: You are volunteering to give a presentation to children, and the topic is ‘the reason for the seasons’. How can you identify, and explain, the reason for our seasons well enough that a child would understand? Be sure to include the importance of the perihelion and aphelion.
