Of the seven arts, I think literature has the most influence on me. I like reading books over the summer in my free time. There are many genres of books as they can be mystery/murder, romance, drama, history, autobiography, etc. The book genre that has influenced me the most is autobiographies. I like reading about people who interest me. For example, I am a big fan of the U.S. Women’s soccer team and I read the autobiography of the history of their team and the autobiography of Megan Rapinoe. I thought her book was great as it made me delve deep into her life and think about certain aspects of life. It is interesting to learn about people in autobiographies because they usually don’t openly talk in public about their life stories. Drama is a great way for any author of literature to pull in their readers. It has an impact on art as it is a way to write their work and add emphasis to it.
