“Words alone aren’t the best
way to communicate. In fact, there’s
all kinds of
research that shows us that in many cases, it’s downright inefficient.” (Tech
Smith, 2022). Visual communication,
the use of visual elements to communicate information or ideas has been
shown to significantly improve comprehension and retention of information (Tech
Smith, 2022). Visual elements, in addition to
written text, help employees cut through the clutter and are powerful tools to
inform, inspire and motivate (Beehive , 2021).
On the following pages are four sections of the CIPS Workplace
Rules:
1. Grievance Procedure,
2. Mail Opening Authorities,
3. Mandatory Use of Protective Wear in Mail Processing
Your task for the project is to pick any two sections
and develop two visual element(s) to help communicate the message more
effectively.
