Each Test is worth 10% of your grade. Each student must submit their individual work. This is NOT a team project.
You CAN refer to your project work and the videos on Moodle to complete this test.
However, you CANNOT work with any other students on this test.
Remember that academic dishonesty can result in immediate failure of this class, so please do your own work.
IF you don’t have access to the desktop version of Excel, you can successfully complete all problems using the online version of Excel – except for #5 on the last page, which requires the Solver Add-In
Computer labs on the HFC campus should be available to you so you can complete problems on this test.
How to take this test and submit your results:
Download the attached Word doc “Test 1 – ENGR-125” (which contains the test questions), as well as the Excel Spreadsheet “Test 1 Data”.
Follow the instructions in the Word doc carefully.
All tables, charts, and fill-in-the-blank answers that are requested in the instructions must be included in the Word doc prior to submitting it to Moodle.
Be sure to submit your Excel file to Moodle along with your Word document.
